Dataphyte Foundation, a leading organisation at the forefront of leveraging data for positive change, proudly announces the appointment of Nafisa Atiku-Adejuwon as its new Programmes Manager. With a rich portfolio in advocacy, gender justice, governance, and social impact, Nafisa brings a wealth of experience and a commitment to driving meaningful change through data-driven initiatives.

As a Walter Carrington Fellow and former Alumnus President of the Emerging Political Leaders Fellowship, Nafisa has demonstrated her dedication to advancing societal causes. Her notable achievements include being recognised as a TEDx Speaker, Royal African Awardee, and Global Shaper, showcasing her leadership and influence in addressing pressing challenges.

Nafisa’s commitment to empowering young women in politics is exemplified by her book, ‘Girls Just Want to Run’, and her advocacy work featured on platforms such as BBC, Blueprint, Punch Newspapers, Bella Naija, and YMonitor. Her extensive speaking engagements with prestigious organisations, including the International Finance Corporation, various diplomatic missions, ONE Campaign, Christian Aid, and YIAGA Africa, underscore her advocacy and governance expertise.

Nafisa’s active involvement in advancing women’s leadership is reflected in her role on the board of Women in Leadership Advancement (WILAN), advocating for increased women’s participation in leadership roles.

Internationally recognised for her contributions, Nafisa is a 2024 Mandela Washington Fellow and a participant in the ‘I AM NALA’ Fellowship by former African Youth Envoy Aya Chebbi.
