The National Agency for the Control of Aids (NACA) noted in the recently released Social Statistics Data 2020 of the National Bureau of Statistics that these states have the least knowledge of HIV prevention in Nigeria.
In Bauchi state, less than half (47%) of people aged 15-49 have knowledge of HIV prevention, making it the state with the least knowledge of HIV prevention in Nigeria. At least more than half of the people in the remaining nine states are aware of HIV prevention.
