Ten Ministries, Agencies, and Departments (MDAs) are to expend between them, a sum of N1.509 trillion on capital expenditure. These MDAs will spend 30.9% of the total capital expenditure of N4.891 trillion in the proposed 2022 budget.
The 2022 proposed budget has a total capital expenditure of 4.9 trillion naira which is to be issued from the consolidated revenue fund of the federation.
The federal ministry of works and housing has the highest allocation of N388.5 billion which is 25% of the total of the top ten highest MDAs. The national population commission and the federal ministry of finance, budget, and national planning follow with an allocation of 182.7 billion and 164.3 billion respectively and a percentage of 12% and 10% of the total of the top ten MDAs.
